Le Grape Escape - A Tour de France of wines showcasing over 110 wines from 13 wine regions of France

So Frenchy So Chic presents LE GRAPE ESCAPE, a tour de France of Wine showcasing 110 wines from 13 regions of France: Alsace, Chablis, Beaujolais, Bourgogne, Bordeaux, Champagne, Jura, Languedoc Roussillon, Loire Valley, Provence, Rhône, Savoie and Sud Ouest.

Please select one of the three sessions available over two days. When you arrive, you will receive your 'Le Grape Escape wine glass' to stroll between stalls and taste wines from the finest wine makers of top French wine regions. All wines will be available for sampling and purchase by the glass or bottle (take-away only).

Session 1 - Friday 20 September: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Session 2 - Saturday 21 September: 11:00 - 3:00 PM

Session 3 - Saturday 21 September: 4:00 - 8:00 PM

Pierre Stock from PS Wine Selections (France Soir, Vue de Monde) has curated the event which is brought to life by the team at So Frenchy So Chic.

Discover a food menu curated by Pinchy’s, Hotel Gitan, L’artisan Cheese Organic & More.

Pinchy's Lobster & Champagne Bar: Lobster Roll with truffle crisps, Tuna Tostada with BlueFin tuna and truffle honey, and Smoked Ocean Trout Tortilla with labneh and pickled fennel.

Pearl Chablis & Oyster Bar Moonlight Flat oysters, Caviar Sandwich on brioche, Smoked Anchovy with mascarpone and nduja, and Beef Tartare with potato galette.

Hotel Gitan: Charcuterie Hampers, paté chaud, duck leg cassoulet, and hazelnut chocolate mousse eclairs. (Sampling not available; purchase only.)

L'artisan Cheese Organic and Long Paddock Cheese will also present a selection of fine cheeses available for sampling and purchase with more food partners to be announced closer to the event weekend.

Bordeaux Master Class (add on to ticket price):

Daniel Airoldi will be running Bordeaux masterclasses across the two days. He is a Bordeaux native, a member of Bordeaux’s Wine Academy, and has forged a reputation for himself within Australia as Mr Bordeaux. Wine enthusiasts can discover the history of Bordeaux’s Right Bank and Left Bank and their respective terroirs, including Merlot vs. Cabernet Sauvignon.

It wouldn't be a So Frenchy So Chic event without music. SFSC DJs will create a festive party atmosphere at the venue with lively beats throughout the weekend. This will fully immerse you in the food, drink, and music experience.
